Mr. & Mrs. Little Bunny (pair) ~ Handmade Dolls

Sitting, they measure 15 INCHES from the tip of their ears to their bottoms.

They have rag and poly stuffed bodies. I made them from cotton canvas, painted them with acrylics. I embellished with various fabrics and trims.

Big Bunny

Sitting, she measures 24 inches from the top of her hat to her bottom.  (Stretched out, Big Bunny measures 31 inches tall from the top of her hat to the tips of her toes. )

She has a rag and poly stuffed body, which makes her feel weighted and bit soft/floppy.  I made her from cotton canvas, painted her with acrylics and stained the doll and clothing with walnut ink.  I embellished her with cotton fabrics, burlap and a little tag and trims.  Her hat is attached to her head.   Her eyes, mouth and body stripes are painted with acrylics.

Santas and Snowmen Dolls

Happy Holidays!   I can't believe it's already November 18th, much less time for the holiday season again!  Yay!   We're settling into our old house.  Still much to do but excited about getting to decorate this year.    I was able to get two Santa and his Gingerbread dolls and two Snowmen made.   I kept a snowman for myself this year :D

Despite the turmoil in life, I hope you find something wonderful in this most magical time of the year.   I pray for you to be happy, healthy and blessed.

Santa and his Gingerbread is made from my Santa and his Gingerbread pattern. 

Laying flat, he measures 30 inches tall from the top of his head to the tips of his toes. His Gingerbread is 10 inches tall. He is made from various fabrics. His beard is Flax Fiber. He and his gingerbread are aged with mixture that contains Walnut Ink.

Snowman (stretched out) measures 29 inches tall from the top of his head to the tips of his toes.  Sitting, he measures 18 inches from the top of his head to his bottom.

He has a rag stuffed bottom and the top is polyfil.  It leaves him feeling weighted and bit soft/floppy.  I made him from cotton canvas, painted him with acrylics and stained the doll and clothing with walnut ink and coffee.  I embellished him with cotton fabrics, burlap and a little tag with a snowflake.   His eyes and mouth are painted with acrylics.  The front of his body reads "In the meadow we can build a snowman".

Pumpkin Seed

Pumpkin Seed ~  Handmade Doll

Stretched out, Pumpkin Seed measures 29 inches tall from the top of his stem to the tips of his toes.  Sitting, he measures 21 inches from the top of his stem to his bottom.

I made him from cotton canvas, painted him with acrylics and stained the doll and clothing with tea, walnut ink and coffee.  I embellished him with a natural branch stem, cotton fabrics and burlap.  He is about 50/50 rag and polyfil stuffed.  His nose is a tiny antique shoe button.  His eyes are painted on with acrylics and his mouth/brows are stitched on.

Witchy Anne

 

Witchy Anne is a BIG DOLL!  She measures 48 inches tall from the tip of her hat to the tips of her toes!  I made her for my front porch and wanted her to stand out :)   

She's actually one of my easier dolls to make in my opinion.  I find the larger doll parts much easier to stuff!!  Pattern is available in my Etsy shop.

Tiny Olivia & Tiny Pearl Handmade Dolls

 

Pears & Pumpkins oh my!

I made three pumpkins (Tiny Olivia) and three pears (Tiny Pearl).    
Please note:  These dolls are much smaller than my regular dolls. Since we've moved into our old house and I've been creating a home, I'm finding "tiny" works better for our home. I hope you like them!

I'm listing them separately because to me, each has their own little personalities/expressions.

Uncle Sam

Hello Everybody!! We've been busy working on the house. I managed to make three Uncle Sams to help ward off the oppressive Summer heat. Each photo is a separate doll.

I have been struggling to work on patterns the last few months and then found I was deliberately not making dolls because I didn't feel like making the pattern, so I decided to take a break from making new patterns. As many of you have followed me through the years, I get in this mood. I might start making patterns again and I may not, we'll see. Right now, this girl just wants to have fun ~~cue Cindy Lauper

Uncle Sam #A, B or C ~ Handmade Doll

Uncle Sam measures 23 inches tall from the top of his hat to the tips of his toes (legs dangling off). He measures 15.5 inches from the top of his hat to his bottom. He is made to sit.

I made him from canvas, painted him with acrylics and stained with a mixture of walnut ink, coffee and tea. I made his clothing from various fabrics. His beard and hair are flax fiber.

Happy New Year!

I hope everyone is doing well!    As many of you know, my husband and I have been working on a 1900's house and finally got moved the last of October.   We still have minor things to finish up.  Taking our time and trying to make it comfortable and feel like home.     It's such a relief to have my own creative space again and not in a tiny corner of an apartment bedroom!  We are loving it here. Angel Betty is my first doll in this new space.   I would like to introduce you to her.

Here is to new beginnings.  May you be happily blessed by good things to come.
